We provide vital services and organize annual wellness retreats to foster mental and emotional well-being.

  • Our primary service is hosting annual wellness retreats designed to help first responders build support networks and find opportunities for rest, recovery, and connection in nature. These retreats focus on peer support, stress management, and strategies for maintaining long-term well-being. We also offer ongoing access to resources for mental health and wellness.

  • LEE's Heart is veteran-owned and operated, giving us a unique perspective on the challenges faced by both military personnel and first responders. Our organization is 100% non-profit: all proceeds and donations go directly toward funding our programs and retreats. We prioritize trust, transparency, and real impact in every initiative.

  • Our services are available to first responders, including but not limited to law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics,  emergency medical technicians (EMTs), nurses, dispatchers, medevac pilots, and veterans. We aim to provide these professionals with the support they need to maintain resilience and mental wellness.

  • 100% of the funds raised go directly to supporting our mission. This includes:

    • Organizing and running retreats

    • Providing resources and wellness programs

    • Expanding support networks for first responders

    • Covering administrative costs solely through volunteer support, ensuring that donations are maximized for program services

  • Named in honor of our late friend Lee Gonzales, LEE’s Heart was founded by veterans who recognized the unique mental health challenges faced by first responders. We understand the importance of peer support and novel experience and wanted to create a space where first responders can come together, share experiences, and develop tools to manage the stresses of their demanding roles.

  • Businesses can support us through sponsorships, in-kind donations, and employee volunteer programs. Corporate partnerships play a crucial role in helping us deliver services to first responders.

  • Yes, as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, donations to LEE's Heart are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes after each contribution.
